Cedar Lodge Claws & Paws (referred to as ‘Carer’).
Client is to divulge any security systems or cameras installed at their property to the house sitter.
Client is to provide a clean, safe place for the carer to stay; locks on doors must be working, and a secure area for their pet if out during the day.
Client accepts responsibility for all medical expenses and other damages resulting from the injury to the pet sitter, other person, or animals caused by client’s pet. We are not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur during the pet sitting period.
All precautions against sickness, injury, escapes, loss, accidents or deaths of the client’s pets.
In the case of any of the above, the carer will follow the emergency procedures provided by the client (vet, emergency contact, etc.). Client accepts any medical expenses incurred.
In the case of inclement weather or a natural disaster (e.g., fire, floods, etc.), the client must provide emergency contacts. Carer will do what’s required in the case of the above. Carer will not be expected to defend property in the case of a natural disaster.
Client must provide full medical history at time of booking of pets, including any behavioural traits.
Client is responsible for supplying any necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pets, including, but not limited to, food, medication, a well-fitting harness or collar and leash, identification tags, litter and cleaning supplies.
Any booking fee deposit paid is non-refundable.
In the event that services are cancelled by the pet sitter, the client will receive a full refund for any services not fulfilled.
With regard to house sitting, if the client returns home earlier than booked, no refunds will be issued, as the Carer will have missed out on other potential bookings.
